extra special packed with love Intentional Printing giveaway :)

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again – I feel super lucky to be part of the fiber artist clan. Seriously, generous artists, more creativity than you can shake a stick at and an all around outstanding attitude about living a life jam packed with all things artful.

It’s been humbling to see that Intentional Printing has been accepted into the ranks with open arms. And I knew I wanted to do something a little extra special for my blog hop stop. I decided to go a wee bit further and do not one but two giveaways. And not just for the book, but some extras in each package.

I will ship to both U.S. and International artists so it’s open to anyone the post office can get a package to. You have until midnight on Friday April 18th to leave a comment on this post (any type comment will do) and I’ll announce TWO winners on Saturday April 19th. (And I encourage you to enter the drawings even if you already have a book. If you win, you can pass it on to another artist you think might like it. Just keep paying it forward!)

Want to see what’s up for grabs? Here they are:

  3. Joan April 13, 2014 at 8:44 am #

I work for an arts group that does a biennial conference with workshops in 13 different media. I always am drawn to the printmaking studio and marvel at what they create. I’ve been quilting for years, but dipping my toe in further to printmaking & color theory has always been intimidating to me! Regardless of who wins, thank you for your generosity in sharing your talent!

  4. Laura April 13, 2014 at 8:47 am #

This would be a great birthday present for me, as my birthday is the 18th. Your book looks fantastic, I’ve commented on other blogs that were part of the blog hop, but so far no luck!

  5. Carol L April 13, 2014 at 9:06 am #

Winning that would certainly get me started with printmaking.

I got the whole set from Interweave a few weeks ago and had the e-book for a while, but there are certain books that are meant to be held and loved and really used and now that I have the real book in my hands , I know that this is one of those kind of books. Like Jane Dunnewold or Rayna Gillman’s books. Yeah, like that! I actually think you’re going to help me get a bit more focused — been doing that Flower Child thing for a while — time to rein it in a bit!!

    Really lovely book Lynn!!

PS — you can leave me out of the drawing — already have all your interweave stuff : )

  23. Laurie L. April 13, 2014 at 10:59 am #

I suddenly flashed on cave painting,.. Marks on blank surfaces are such an integral part to the life… Printing fabric takes on new meaning, and though it won’t last thousands of years like ancient hieroglyphs, marks on stone or in caves protected from elements, it no doubt begins from the same inner calling.

  24. Margaret McDonald April 13, 2014 at 11:00 am #

Congrats on being #1. Thanks for including non-USA entries.

I too was laid up due to back injury then surgery, I ended up trying to learn to sew clothes. I still enjoy quilting and art quilts but I am added, very slowly, clothes to the mix. Tomorrow I meet with an ASG group to print on fabric using fabric markers, I will be “printing” for the first time on a jacket, the muslin anyway, that I’m making. It’s a medium weight all white fabric, can’t wait to see how it turns out. If I like it, going to try it on other projects. Really like your work and it was interesting to watch your videos and read your blog. Sorry this is so long!!!!
